Here at Autodesk, we all love to see see great 3D design and visualization work produced by talented individuals on the web. In fact, we love it so much, that we want YOU to help us share it with the world – right here on our blog.
Win a Graphics Card Worth Over £1,000!
If you’re a designer, recent graduate, student or talented young gun, now is your chance to shine and bring your work to a wider audience, including experts at Autodesk. As part of our new competition, we’ll be supporting some of the best talent in UK design visualization, with the winner receiving a high-end graphics card worth over £1,000 from our friends at ATI.
There are also great runners-up prizes of ATI graphics cards for second and third places.
It’s easy to enter. Simply post a link to your 3D visualization or design visualization showreel in any format (i.e. YouTube video, Flickr slideshow, blog link, etc.) as a comment reply to this blog post, along with a description under 140 characters as to why you think you’re the hottest design visualization talent around.
There are 5 different areas we’ll be looking at for each entry: overall design, creative ability, technical ability, aesthetic appeal and the number of comment ‘Likes’. The ‘Like’ button is next to the comment box, so be sure to spread the word about your entry to encourage people to vote for your work. After four weeks, our judges will make a shortlist, before deciding the winners.

Деревянный дом в центре Москвы
В Москве почти не осталось мест, где можно буквально прикоснуться к живой истории — не в музее, а в повседневной жизни. Тем удивительнее увидеть деревянный дом, утопающий в зелени, с резными наличниками, башенками и следами времени на фасаде, всего в нескольких минутах пешком от метро «Петровско-Разумовская». Вокруг — современные жилые комплексы, общежития, плотный городской трафик. А за старой калиткой — совершенно иной ритм: тишина, палисадник, скрип крыльца и ощущение, что время здесь замедлилось. Этот дом — не реконструкция и не стилизация. Это подлинный деревянный особняк второй половины XIX века, которому уже около 150 лет и который до сих пор остаётся жилым. Дом, построенный для профессуры.
